The "Scrambler" is the monthly newsletter publication of the Arkansas-Boston Mountains Chapter of the NRHS. It is named for a Frisco local freight that ran on the Fort Smith subdivision of the Frisco's Central Division between Monett, MO and Fayetteville, AR.The "Scrambler" is distributed to members of the Chapter and provides a venue for members to share their railroad stories and experiences .The "Scramblers" on this site date back to 1987 and as such contain a wealth of information on railroading in Northwest Arkansas and elsewhere.
